Certified universities that are approved to maintain slot machines for the sole purpose of training and licensure, if any, of slot machine game experts, inspectors, or researchers. The division and the Department of POLICE may possess slot machines for training and assessment purposes. The department may adopt rules regarding the regulation of any such slot machines useful for instructional, training, or assessment purposes. Any maneuver, transfer, or product whereby this subsection will be violated is a violation of this chapter and renders any such arrangement void.
